Screen Jumps Up And Down Windows 10
Hello. I have an HP Pavilion 17' screen laptop with Windows XP. For the last few days my screen does not stay steady; it jumps up and down and I try to stabilize it by gently moving the top of my laptop back and forth. Yesterday it seemed OK, but today, after I just moved the top ever so slightly, it now will not remain steady. I barely ever move this laptop as I do not have a wireless router, although I do always shut the laptop at night when I turn everything off. But to my knowledge I never manhandled the laptop in any way...never dropped it, etc. I have tried turning the laptop completely off and restarting it, but to no avail. Does this mean the laptop is 'done'? Or is there a way to fix this? It is obviously very difficult for me to work on this laptop without getting vertigo (smile). Thanks for any assistance you might be able to give me.
